Camp was awesome!

Last time i talked about camp sooooooo you should read that first. It was about what we were going to do there and it has been a couple of weeks past camp so i think it's time to talk about it. Monday: On monday we had a four hour bus ride and on the way we had walks and food monday was quite boring and i had a horrible sleep.(Asoe i did not sleep with my kuzins i slept in a cabin).Tuesday: Tuesday was scary we went to the infimes napier prison. If you haven't been there then i'll give you a run down there was a fishermen who aet peoples eyeballs, there was a room for the worst prisoners and the people who went in there never came out and much more.

 Wednesday: I love honey it's deelishis thats why this was my favorite day because we went to Arataki Honey. we got to learn about bees and even got to bring some honey back home with are wax candle that we made there definitely the best day at camp. Thursday: on thursday we went to the aquarium but there was something even  better a cracked out man asking all of us  for drugs... truly a great end to camp.

   

 

Camp is coming!

Camp is awesome! You get to hang out with friends, go on advenchers and much much more. Are year 6 camp is going to great why  well it's because we're going on on a four hour bus ride to Napier! 

It's going to be so fun on monday to thursday were doing so much stuff ( i'll tell you in the next blog so stay tooned). My cousins live right across the road from the camp so i'm staying with my mum at my cousins  house at night.

 In conclusion camp is going to be awesome and i'll see you next time. 

The farm!!!

The farm was great we got to hang out with sheep, make butter and watch a butcher kill an animal FUN I know let's go into detail. We started with the best part the BUS RIDE you might not agree but for a person who NEVER EVER gos on bus its special. We arrived and it SKINNED we formed a line and I saw this guy sawing a sheep in half (great start so far ). 

What are school did is that we split in classes I sadly didn't go with my best friend but who cares that won't ruin the day. We started the tour with looking at the things they use on the farm like tractors,motorbikes and drones it was quite boring since they didn't use any of them. next was shearing the sheep it's quite obvious  what we did the sheep got some cuts but it's fine.

The only animals that I saw were sheep and dogs but that was going to change when we saw a cow and we made butter by shaking some milk in a jar. Remember the butcher from erlear well he's back with the same killed sheep from earlier shredding it to pieces .

In conclusion the farm was AWESOME and SMELLY!!!      

       

Beach day!!!

At the beach we dug a hole and this is how it went. The people who were digging the hole were my friends Bay, William and me Wolfe. Shortly after the hole was super deep but Bay left because his other friends had a shovel. We dug a hole so deep that we couldn't dig more down so I decided to bury myself.

It was easy burying me because we had left over sand from when we were digging. we finally buried myself don't worry they didn't bury my head. I didn't really do anything because I couldn't move but it was fun watching people's reactions. At the end we were going to draw a body with my face on it since I was  buried but we had to leave. 

In conclusion beach day was awesome!!!  

READING

 Reading is great you probably like it to or else why would you be reading this. If you don't like reading then your half percent of people in the world who don't like reading and i'm going to talk about why you should read so don't click away.

My first reason is education instead of someone telling you on the internet you can read a book it's more healthier too. Speaking of being healthy my second reason is reading is healthy for you way more healthier than screens. And my last reason is reading is fun because you can imagine what's going on in the book.

In conclusion reading is awesome and I like jelly beans. 

 Mobile phones are super helpful you can buy stuff, comunicatie with friends and family and it's entertaining. Phones are especially useful because of covid 19 but that doesn't mean that kids should have them. I think kids should not have mobile phones and here's why. 

My first reason why kids shouldn't have mobile phones because it's distracting phones are meant for communicating and shopping but kids always play games or watch videos. My second reason is your health being on a phone for to long can lead to sleeplessness obesity and much worse. My third and last reason is being mean: pretend that your playing a video game but you get a game over usually your fine but some kids get rage and angry sometimes someone tells you to get off and you get mad. 

in conclusion I think kids should not have mobile phones and I like jelly beans.                  

     

         

Pie and donut day!

 Donuts and pies are delicious so it was no surprise that I was super excited for pie and donut day and that's not all we also could wear are pjs! We did this because we need money for camp so I bringed $2 to school. I came to school with my shark onesie on at least I wasn't a real shark or else I wouldn't be able to breath.

The donut's and pie's were delicious most people got big chunks of onion in there pie but I didn't.The donut was a different type it was a bun with jam and cream in it and it was delicious! I hope we have pie and donut day in the next school I go to.

In conclusion pie and donut day was awesome and I hope we do it again at wainui school. 

      

Chores!

                                                                                

I don't mind chores, if I had to pick over homework or chores I would pick chores. I do a lot of chores for my age I do 8 chores each day .  I feeding the dogs, doing the dishes, vacuuming and much much more. 

My favorite chores to do are the dishes, I don't know why i just like them. I think I like them because all the other jobs are boring except for feeding the dogs. The job that I hate the most is putting the washing on the line. One time I was sitting waiting for the cloths to dry on the washing line and then it started raining and all of the clothes got soaked and i had to get all of the clothes that I just got on off all while it was raining I was soaking wet!!

In conclusion jobs aren't that bad and are actually fun at times.   

       

A healthy lifestyle

To have a healthy lifestyle you need to get a lot of sleep a lot of healthy foods to eat and a lot of exercise. To stay healthy you should eat fruit like grapes,apples,bananas and more . Exercise is also key to a healthy lifestyle you should exercise on a daily basis.   

Sleep is important not just for a healthy lifestyle because if you don't get enough sleep it can lead to

recklessness,anger what can affect your health .

And there you have it that is how you have a healthy lifestyle eat healthy and exercise. Since quarantine a lot of have been unhealthy so it's a great time to be healthy. I think that having a healthy lifestyle is great!!!

 

Save the animals

Animals are an important thing in are ecosystem but animals are being treated horribly so it's no surprise that animals are almost crossing the line of extinction every year a prime example of animal extinction is the Dodo they were eaten by hungry pirates and the Dodo became extinct. In are class we have been writing about animal extinction and how we can save the animals. we can save the animals by polluting less because if we do endangered animals like the sea turtles are choking on rubbish that we put in the sea (fun fact: polar bears are helping other animals not die from pollution polar bears put all of the pollution away so animals don't die).



Many animals die because of forestry many animals live in the forest so it's sad to see animals homes it has nowhere to live and its possible that the animal can die. Animals are used for clothing people sell the cloths for money they asoe stuff them on their walls or there killed for food that goes to waste.



In conclusion we should save the endangered animals before they become extinct.           

               

Bubbles!!!

        In my last blog post I said I made some real bubbles instead of drawing them and that I will
 and that I would do a post about it next time and this is what this is WE MADE REAL BUBBLE'S!!!
       We did it by googling recipes on how to make bubbles I thought we should do eatibull bubbles but they didn't want to. The ingredients where dish soap,baking powder,corn starch,corn syrup and water.



                                                            How did we make bubbles?
                                                     1. pour 2 cups of dish soap and mix.
                                                   2. scoop 2 teaspoons of baking powder.
                                                           3. 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
                                                4. 4 tablespoons of corn syrup in a large bowl
                                                   5.Pour in a half gallon of distilled water, and stir.

conclusion

Making bubbles where fun and awesome and would love to do it again .

I love it so much that I might even make it at home.

            Since we have been using the term (stay in your bubble) in lockdown are teacher decided to

            some art about bubbles. What we had to do is that we would do some bubbles on a black 

            piece of paper and connect it to are buddy's piece of paper SO ITS CERLABRITIV ART!

            In my picture is I did different types of bubbles like a dubble bubble or a bubble popping. 

           To draw bubbles it's simple first you draw a circle with light glares and other colours 

            (also if you look at a bubble it will have colours in it trust me). When I was doing my 

            bubbles some hand sanitizer on my paper and for the rest of the day my paper smelt like 

            a melted ice block.


             In conclusion bubble was fun and easy!(Also we are making real bubbles so look out for that).
           

Just Dance!

                       Just Dance is a game made by Ubisoft and owned and published by Nintendo.
                We of cause don't have about 20+ consoles in our school so we Google people playing it.
           The songs in Just Dance have a lot of variety from different times going from the 60S-2020!



                                                                       How to play 
               Just Dance is simpile there is someone who's dancing and you have to copy their motions.
          The controller picks up your motions giving you a score reaching from ok,good,perfect and                              yeah! At the end it gives you a score about how you went from ★ to ★★★★★.



                                                                       Conclusion
                              In conclusion Just Dance is a great game for family and friends.
                           Its all so good for exercise thats means its good for quarantine.
                                       If I could rate Just Dance it will be ★★★.

Learning from home

                                                                     Google meets
Learning from home was a chore for me and here's why. In Google Meets it would always glitch,freeze and sometimes even close the tab automatically. The only thing that was good was we would always do somethings different eg Famous person dress up, Fancy Friday, Mask Monday  and things like that .



                                                                           Work
The work we did was fun because we made an obstacle course ,we made ANZAC cookies it was very very very fun. (I didn't really do school work at home I did my own work so I have nothing to say about).

Yummy Nacho's

                                                                   Nacho Day

A couple days ago we did natshow orders for our school. And I want to talk about it to a you because it was really fun so here you go. Enjoy 

Making the Nacho's

Making the nachos was really fun because we got to just walk around and make people plop food onto the plates for other people - it was really easy. First we had to wait for Koka Ducky to say we can go to the servers. When she said we could go we would go to the mince servers who were Jo and Amy, then we would go to the people who served the cheese, who were Ben and Tristan and then we would go to the sour cream servers who were Kayla and Krishna. You might be wondering- where's the nacho chips? Well, they were already on the plates.

Serving the nachos

Serving the nachos was also really easy we just had to wait in the line for a class to get their orders and  when they got their orders we repeated the cycle. The one downside was that there was some plates that were really flimsy and sloppy and it was really easy to drop them but I got the hang of holding them.

What the nachos taste like

The nachos were soft and crunchy. The corn chips were crunchy as ever and the mince was the softest thing ever and the sour cream topped it all off with some of the cheese - cheese giving the extra flavour. It was delicious!!!

I was getting ready to dive as I waited for the buzzer to go off  3,2,1 go!!!
as I dived in something terrible happened...my goggles fell off!!!
But that didn't stop me I immediately put the goggles back on while catching my breath and now i'm ready.
I zoomed across the water and touched the wall and then I pushed off the wall and then something took a back turn.
I started to get tired I would stop to take a breath and it would get worse from now.
My arm's were getting tired and I was in last place but that wouldn't stop me.
My confidence was gaining and I was getting faster and faster I just went past someone and I finally touched the wall finishing in 4th place.

Since my goggles broke I didn't were them.
I started in the pool instead of diving the buzzer went off and I pushed off the wall energised and ready. I was faster than ever but there was someone  just as good as me. We raced so fast that we were passing everyone. We were about to touch the wall and I just past in 2nd place into the finals.

New year new week back at school !!!

My first year back at school was awesome.we have a lot of fun playing games and sell the activities on a first week back at school so let's talk about our first week at school.


Buzz groups
At school we do something could buzz groups. Buzz groups are people who you don't really know and you have to work together and solve problems as a team. We found a buzz groups by doing an activity!!! The activity was that the teacher picked a random  word out of a hat and we had to find someone with a word that relates to your word and when you find everyone that you need that's your buzz groups!!!

Quick writes
A quick write is writing but you have to do it in a certain amount of time hints the name quick writes.
My first quick write was chocolate vs cheese I picked cheese because cheese is more healthy and you can put more stuff on cheese. I wrote 22 words.
